Meet Joanna

Art Director

I’ve been in the business of branding for almost twenty years—from logo design to strategic brand development and deployment at an international level. I’ve been called a mind reader, and am known for my innate understanding of what clients want and ability to translate their ideas into compelling visuals that drive engagement.

I love what I do because I have the opportunity to connect with people across a range of industries who bring incredible ideas to the table, they just sometimes have trouble communicating them. What excites me most about what we do at Sometime Communications is that I get to use my expertise to bring these ideas to life with clear, beautiful messages that help talented individuals achieve their goals.

I work between Vancouver and Guadalajara, Mexico. We homeschool, so when I’m not art directing, you’ll find me learning alongside my children. I also host art workshops for kids, and I’m the brand director of WeLAB, an entertainment studio my husband and I co-own.
